My Approach

When I first entered the health world, it was with the ambition to become a physical therapist (I am a huge anatomy and physiology nerd!).  However, after receiving my bachelors degree in kinesiology in 2015, I quickly realized that my passion lay in full mind and body healing, not just injury prevention/repair.

I started working as a yoga therapist with individuals after completing the Yoga Therapy Graduate Extension Program at LMU in 2017. I used the breathwork, postures, and philosophy of yoga to help individuals move through anxiety, grief, and chronic pain. Currently, I offer weekly yoga therapy at Charlie Health to out-patient groups of youth and young adults.

In 2018, I began a Masters in Counseling: Somatic Psychology program. I learned more ways to incorporate the body into emotional healing. It is my philosophy that the two cannot be separated. In order for us to change, we must pay attention to both our thoughts and our physical sensations. When you work with me, I provide you with evidence-based techniques that help you make embodied change in your life.

When my husband and I moved to Colorado in 2021, I became a neurofeedback specialist and gained expertise in both qEEG data collection and interpretation. I continue to meet with new clients to interpret their brain data and help them understand the patterns in their brain that impact mental health. I am currently completing all requirements to become a qEEG-Licensed Diplomate.
